Acoustica have also recruited a new Engineering Manager with a pedigree in sophisticated engineering design. Richard Dean’s career has been spent in special purpose machinery and robotics – for example, eight years with GEA Aeromatic Fielder and the last five in specialist contracting; one project in satellite handing systems. However, Richard insists he is ‘merely’ an extension to an already highly capable design team: “Our people, supported by tools such as parametric 3D CAD, are able to provide full design support to Building Services and Machinery Design Customers. We’re committed to keeping Acoustica at the forefront of innovative solutions; we are far more than ‘sheet metal bashers’!”
